Northern Saddle Club’s Annual Fall Ride, Poker Run & Fundraiser

The Northern Saddle Club’s Annual Fall Ride, Poker Run and Fundraiser is Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Halls Creek Equestrian Trailhead, which is located off County C in Homestead, WI at 2450 Halls (Hills) Creek Dam Rd, Florence, WI, 54121. Google Maps: Halls Creek Equestrian Camp and Trailhead.

Registration begins at 9am, and the cost is $10 per Poker Hand. Participants are invited to ride at their own pace, meet new friends, and enjoy Florence County's beautiful horse trail network.  A copy of your 2026 negative coggins is required to be turned in during registration.

You do not have to ride to enjoy the day, anyone can purchase poker hands and raffle tickets. You can buy as many poker hands as you would like for your chance to win. 

Bucket raffles, a 50/50 drawing, and Northern Saddle Club T-shirts, hoodies, and zip-ups will be available for purchase throughout the day.  Poker Hands and Ticket sales will continue until 3:15 pm, then raffle drawings will be held, and winners announced.  Around 4pm, a potluck meal and campfire gathering will follow the day's activities.

The Northern Saddle Club welcomes everyone with an interest in supporting local trails and equestrian recreation. You do not need to own a horse to become a member or participate in club activities.

The club is currently accepting donations for the Fall Ride and Poker Run. Funds raised through donations and fundraising activities are used for club expenses, trail maintenance and improvements, helping ensure Florence County's horse trails remain safe, accessible, and enjoyable for future generations of riders.
