Rules of the Northern Saddle Club
1. PROOF OF COGGINS TEST WILL BE REQUIRED FOR EVERY HORSE ON TRAIL RIDES. (A copy needs to be left with the club secretary at the beginning of each year by members or at the time of joining the club for new members).
2. Only one person per horse.
3.All horses must have the proper riding equipment. (Bridle, saddle, etc.)
4.Persons under the age of 18 must wear an approved safety helmet and also have a guardian with them, if not they need to have a written permission to be on the ride. It will be good for one year.
5.A stallion may only be ridden by an adult, 18 years or older. The rider is responsible for the actions of the stallion.
6.Persons with inappropriate behavior can be asked to leave the ride by club officers present.
7.People with horses which are uncontrollable will be asked to leave. All horses that are known kickers need to have a red ribbon tied in their tails.
8.The meeting will take place on the 2nd Wednesday of each month unless changed to be held during the trail ride. 7:00 pm.
9.Each person is responsible for their own actions such as smoking, drinking, fires, etc…
10.Members that do not follow club rules may be expelled from the club and forfeit all dues.
11.Family memberships will include all members of the family (husband & wife) and children under the age of 18. Membership dues are $10.00 per person or $15.00 for family.
12.No dogs allowed on club rides.
13.For the safety of all concerned--Dogs must be kept under control at all times,
